Music: How do I explain it?
Why does music make us feel the way we do?
Archival scan processed for high clarity and spectral detail.
How am I to explain or describe music? Words aren't enough. English isn't deep or expressive enough to describe the musical experience. Is there a language deeper? Is there a language with words to describe the Indescribable? I would learn that language.
Sometimes music is that friend that celebrates with you in the small victories and bigger achievements. Sometimes it's there with you in those special moments. Sometimes it makes those moments special. It's there during the bad times when no one can see you break apart. When life begins to shred your soul in pieces. When your life is only held together by loose threads. Sometimes music is a time travel machine. Bringing moments to life. Moments you were not fortunate enough to witness.
Music tells stories our lips cannot express. It reads our hearts. The way it makes us feel. I simply cannot explain.
So who can tell me? How do I explain music? What words can I use to explain this feeling? I can't find any.
Should I have made this writing more polished? Maybe. But I won't. How else would you experience my raw feelings like my heart relates it?
